10 Worst WWE Intercontinental Champions Ever

6. Marty Jannetty

When Marty Jannetty won the IC Title from former partner Shawn Michaels on the May 17, 1993 edition of Raw they had a great match. Looking back on it, though, it was a bad decision. Jannetty's reign as IC Champion lasted only 20 days after he lost it back to Michaels at a house show. His victory broke up what could have been a year long run as champion by Michaels. He held it for 202 days before dropping it to Jannetty and then another 113 days after he lost it. Any time WWE chooses to do a title change on television only to move it back to the champion in a non-televised match it's a bad idea. Fans should be able to witness title changes. It was in the first year of Raw, so maybe WWE didn't know better at the time, but it certainly hurt both guys that they did it that way.
