10 Worst WWE Mistakes In 2018 (So Far)

3. Choosing Big Cass As Daniel Bryan's First Singles Feud

When Daniel Bryan happily announced his in-ring return this past March, three years of frustration washed away in an instant. Suddenly, all those matches fans (and Bryan himself) had yearned for seemed possible. AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe, The Miz and more were in sight.

So, naturally, WWE chose Big Cass.

This is not an insult to Cass in the slightest. It's not his fault he was thrust upon Bryan, and he wasn't exactly going to shake his head and say, "oh, no thanks, the fans want to see Daniel tangle with other, more polished workers instead." Cass did his best, but he wasn't the correct choice from WWE management, not for Bryan's first singles feud back in the game.

Things seem brighter now Bryan is working with wrestlers like Jeff Hardy and Joe every week. The Miz is quietly hinting that a reprise of their rivalry is on the horizon too. As much as that's great, Bryan could have done with someone like Miz straight away.
