File John Cena and Cryme Tyme aligning as CTC (Cryme Time Cenation) under factions you've almost certainly forgotten about. All in all, the trio were only together for a few weeks in mid-2008. That was a shame, because it might've given JTG and Shad Gaspard a leg up on the roster again due to the fact they were rubbing shoulders with the poster boy. WWE didn't give this one nearly enough time to breathe or resonate with fans.

Perhaps one angle turned them off. It sure turned some stomachs in the audience.

On the 7 July 2008 edition of Raw, Cena and his pals vandalised JBL's trademark bull-horned limousine by sketching some graffiti all over it. One of the phrases JC used would go down in history as a worst ever moment in his career. He spray painted, "JBL Is Poopy" on the car in bright red, and the announcers tried to present that as one of the edgiest things they'd ever seen.

Back home, countless people watching Raw screwed up their faces. WWE were preparing to go PG on 22 July, so they didn't want to do anything that'd jeopardise that or get them into trouble with potential sponsors. Thus, Cena couldn't say or scribble anything that'd be considered too offensive or over the tope, but..."poopy"? It was lame.

"JBL Sucks", or something to that effect, would've worked way better. This was in line with the "fudge, baloney, mustard" nonsense that sanitised Cena came away with during this time period. He'd gone from rapping badass with an edge to a walking cartoon character adults were still supposed to take seriously. It was a lot to take in.
