10 Worst WWE Pairings Ever

5. Glamarella

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5itEjp9814Y If you were booking WWE, what would you do with one of the toughest, most intimidating and athletically gifted women the company had ever seen? Why stick her with comedy hack Santino Marella! Well, that's exactly what WWE did anyway. From 2007-2008, Phoenix was the most dominant woman in the Divas division. She was battling the likes of great talent like Mickie James and Jillian Hall and holding her own. She was great in the role of a vicious heel, and was having a lot of success with her Glamazon moniker. For some reason, this wasn't quite working with creative. They wanted more humor on the show, and put her together with Santino. The two hit it off when she defeated Santino in a match after he issued an open challenge on Raw. The next week, she was going to attack him, and they ended up kissing. Yes, exactly like in real life. Apparently they both liked it, and the duo became known as Glamarella. The pairing dragged on for months until WrestleMania, when Santino dressed in drag and pretended he was his own sister Santina. Yep. Not funny. He threw her out of the battle royal at the show, and the two feuded for a bit. The pairing completely killed any momentum she had, and overall just felt like a waste of her talents to be paired with a mid-card comedy act. Beware Emma. Beware.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
