Folks who say that JBL winning the WWE Championship from Eddie Guerrero was the worst part of the 2004 Great American Bash obviously didn't watch the entire show. For reasons that make about as much sense as sardine-flavored cereal, Paul Bearer was trapped into a glass case (of emotion), and if Undertaker didn't let Bubba Ray and D-Von beat him up, Paul Heyman would authorize dumping wet cement on the hapless Bearer.

If you survived that paragraph without suffering a debilitating aneurysm, you're a strong one. Bear in mind that the action of the match (basic as it was) would screech to a halt whenever Heyman would chastise 'Taker for kicking too much ass, and then would dump more cement on Bearer, whose kayfabe death would follow the audience's gradual death, caused by confusion and disgust.

Undertaker won, and then killed Bearer himself for a lark, it seemed. The only positive from this tripe was the wrestling website that a week later ran the headline, "Paul Bearer Comments On His Death".

Talk about the sweetened cherry on the dung sundae.
