2. Yokozuna Vs. The Undertaker: Casket Match (1/22/94)

Truly, this had to be seen to be believed. Yokozuna and Undertaker's WWE Championship match at the 1994 Royal Rumble could've been described as "mediocre" or "average" before the big finish. It was a brawl between two monsters that wasn't thrilling, but was serviceable. When Undertaker was on the verge of winning, everything went flying off a cliff.

Suddenly, no less than ten heels hit the ring, including Diesel, Bam Bam Bigelow, Crush, and others. Undertaker was thoroughly beaten down and his urn pried open. From said urn billowed colored smoke, which Vince McMahon casually claimed was Undertaker's power escaping from his physical form. He said this in the same matter-of-fact voice you would use to explain how to apply the hand-brake on your bicycle.

So Undertaker loses and the gaggle of heels are happy.

But wait!

Undertaker appears on the jumbotron via CasketCam, and gives a soliloquy on death before floating to the heavens (in actuality, Marty Jannetty in Undertaker's hat and coat). This was exactly how they wrote Poochie off of Itchy and Scratchy, but without the happy music. The year 1994 was a rough one in WWE.
