You knew this was coming, admit it.

Now, had The Undertaker vs. Goldberg stopped short around the four or five minute mark, then things might be different. As it is, the match rolled on past that respectable first half and revealed the plaque that has grown on the tusks of these once-proud warriors. They just couldn't keep it going.

Blown up due to the sizzling heat in Saudi Arabia and looking every bit the combined 106 years they have between them, 'Taker and Goldberg went from working a solid match to a disaster in the final three minutes or so. That botched Jackhammer alone had older fans fearing they might see a legend literally break his neck.

It was all so avoidable. The pressure to work for approx 10 minutes got to both, and they were in dire straits after the final bell. WWE didn't need to book this to run any longer than five mins, and everyone knew it. A borderline unconscious Goldberg sucking wind and 'Taker's disappointed face will remain one of wrestling's most disheartening visuals forever.
