10 Worst WWE PPV Matches Of 2021 (So Far)

7. Big E Vs. Apollo Crew

Where: Fastlane

Why It's Here: Credit to Big E and Apollo Crews for working diligently to make their SmackDown brawls engaging, but they've been up against it due to some wonky booking. Problems began at Fastlane when E dispatched Crews (who was reborn as a quasi-Nigerian prince) in just five minutes.

The New Day man barely broke sweat, and that left Apollo cold. He's since rallied to become Intercontinental Champ (more on that later) - however, yeah, this 21 Match collision didn't live up to some nifty build that saw Crews belt E around the ThunderDome with some handy steel steps.

Their first pay-per-view match was weaker than a kitten's p*ss, and things didn't get much better from there. Oh yes, WWE had another "treat" in store that was supposed to even the score and make Crews look like a much bigger threat.

Did it succeed? Did it hell, and that's why the next match on this list is as follows.
