1. December To Dismember 2006
Why It Sucked Where do you even start with this one? Just well and truly awful, pretty much from top to bottom, the show was so bad that it caused Paul Heyman's WWE departure (he claims that his creative direction for the show was far different from what the finished product turned out to be). So what were viewers treated to courtesy of this wrestling train wreck? Seven minutes of Balls Mahoney versus Matt Striker, which was at least four minutes too long. Elijah Burke and Sylvester Terkay (remember them?) rumbling with the FBI. Uninspired isn't even the word. Then you've got Daivari versus Tommy Dreamer. For some reason. I'm sure... Okay, so that's a pretty damn useless three consecutive matches right there. And then, THEN, out come Kevin Thorn and Ariel for a mixed tag match with Mike 'Who?' Knox and Kelly 'Kelly Kelly' Kelly. If you ever decide that you actually hate a loved one, you should fire up the WWE Network and make them watch all eight minutes of this. The 'Extreme' Elimination Chamber main event (weapons in the Chamber) should have been good. But it wasn't. This was like some weird meshing of the old ECW and Vince's new vision of the brand, with Rob Van Dam, CM Punk, Test, Hardcore Holly, Big Show and Bobby Lashley doing battle over the ECW World Title. Sabu was supposed to be in the match, but he was written out and replaced by Sparky Plugg for reasons nobody can really explain (although apparently Sabu was being a bit 'difficult' during this period). When Lashley, Vince's hand-picked muscle God won the title, many of the fans in attendance literally turned their backs on him. This that don't decided to boo him instead. Ouch. Did Anything Redeem It? There was literally one good match: The Hardy Boyz versus MNM (one of only two advertised matches, along with the Chamber match). Even then, it wasn't that good. Not good enough to save this shambles, anyway.
