10 Worst WWE PPVS Of The 2000s

9. Judgement Day 2003

Why it Sucked The last of the dual-branded shows before Raw and Smackdown would start promoting single-brand PPVs (outside of the 'big four'), Judgement Day 2003 would have been a disappointment had anyone actually thought the presented card had the potential to be good. The show kicked off in underwhelming fashion, with a sub-three minute FBI versus Chris Benoit, Spanky and Rhyno six-man. That's thirty seconds per wrestler, just about. Following that was another rubbish tag match, between Scott Steiner and Test and the debuting La Resistance. WWE brought back the Intercontinental Title for this show (after Triple H essentially retired it in October 2002). With an awesome, 16-man tournament, you ask? Nope, with a tame 9-man battle royal, actually. Christian won, in case you were wondering (you weren't). After that the crowd needed perking up so WWE wheeled out Torrie Wilson and Sable for a bikini contest that took about fifteen minutes. On PPV. At least Jerry Lawler seemed to enjoy it. There was only way to follow that doozy: Mr. America versus Rowdy Roddy Piper in a five minute match, brother! Vince, the well was truly dry in WCW back in 96, mate. Speaking of the well being dry, how about that Kevin Nash? He was here, having a really sh*tty seven minute World Heavyweight Title match with Triple H. Did Anything Redeem It? The main event WWE Title Stretcher Match between Big Show and Brock Lesnar was fun, in a goofy kind of way and Eddie Guerrero and Tajiri (subbing for an injured Chavo) versus World's Greatest in a Tag Team Tag Team Title Ladder Match was fun, but neither of those matches were getting much higher than three stars.
