10 Worst WWE Raw Main Events Ever
4. John Cena Vs. Kevin Federline - 1 January 2007
It was the height of LOL CENA WINZ. John Cena won the WWE Championship on 17 September 2006 and held it for the next 380 days, only relinquishing it in October 2007 after tearing his right pectoral tendon. During those 380 days, Cena was only pinned by three men in singles competition: Shawn Michaels in an hour-long classic, Carlito in a match that not even Carlito remembers, and Kevin Federline.
What a strange trio. Michaels doesn't need explaining, and younger fans might be surprised to hear that Carlito doesn't either. The former Intercontinental and United States Champion was booked to have Cena's number on several occasions. Those same young fans will have absolutely zero idea who Kevin Federline is.
He isn't and wasn't a wrestler, that's for sure. Federline was famous for a very short time after marrying Britney Spears, a marriage that had ended by the time K-Fed found himself on RAW. After a couple of weeks of beefing, Cena and Federline did battle in a RAW main event, a match that saw constant interference from Johnny Nitro (John Morrison), a Masterlock challenge and more, before Umaga ran in and put Cena down for the count.
Kevin Federline has more WWE singles wins than Sting.
