7. The Revival Shower Segment

Imagine you are Dash Wilder.

You turn up for work on Monday and encounter a nearby producer, who directs you to the shower area of the locker room. Your gut plunges violently into your a*sehole, for you sense a disturbing presence lurking over your shoulder. Is it Norman Bates? You f*cking wish. It's Vince McMahon, pal, and he's gonna make you shave the back of your tag team partner Scott Dawson in a skit explicitly designed to humiliate you. "What is they doing? What is that?" Jimmy Uso asked, stumbling onto the scene.

"That" was Vince McMahon deeming it acceptable to frame the heel Revival act as dreaded homosexuals as punishment for refusing to sign a new multi-year deal. Perhaps Vince was inspired to do so in this fashion because A) he is quite awful, and B) Wilder and Dawson in January reportedly requested their release in full gear, too pissed off to even change. "You like going topless, huh? Well get a load of this good sh*t, quite frankly."

Even if you don't believe this was insinuated, portraying the Revival as comedic relief was still either spiteful or deeply misguided. What was the heat? "Heat", huh...?
