When Dolph Ziggler entered the Royal Rumble match as the 30th participant in 2015, in many ways he was the WWE Universe's final ray of light. The Big Show and Kane were running through the field at an alarming rate, and it was becoming more and more inevitable that the match was coming down to the Authority duo and Roman Reigns. Dolph Ziggler was their last hope, and Dolph Ziggler should never be anyone's last hope.

Ziggler hit the ring like a house on fire, eliminating Bad News Barrett and Cesaro immediately. Things were going swell, but things very quickly became less swell when Ziggles got a little too up close and personal with the gargantuan right hand of Big Show. That was all she wrote for The Showoff.

Show and Kane picked up Ziggler's lifeless cadaver and tossed him over the top rope, two and a half minutes after he had arrived. It was one final FU to the WWE Universe, as any and all hope was extinguished in the blink of an eye. Pretty much like every Dolph Ziggler main event push then.
