10 Worst WWE Royal Rumble Number 30 Entrants Ever

4. Adam Bomb - 1994

I have a confession to make: as a kid, I loved Adam Bomb. The gimmick was ridiculous, yes, but the colour, size, and weird contact lenses made him a favourite in the Bills household. The threat of nuclear war was still real in 1994 after all, and anyone who survived a nuclear disaster needed to be taken seriously in the World Wrestling Federation.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing however, and Adam Bomb was about as threatening as a taxidermy bear. Bomb entered the 1994 Royal Rumble last, another token big man to do so. Expect Big Show or Luke Harper to get this spot in 2017.

Adam Bomb entering the Royal Rumble last in 1994 would be a bit like Erick Rowan doing so now. He's big, he's scary, but he's probably going to be eliminated a couple of minutes later without causing any real damage. Bomb lasted almost five minutes in '94, before being tossed over the top rope by eventual co-winner Lex Luger.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
