10 Worst WWE Summerslam Matches Ever

2. Summerslam 1993 - Undertaker vs. Giant Gonzalez

While the Undertaker has certainly become an icon in the sport of professional wrestling, his opponent for this match, the Giant Gonzalez, has earned the reputation of the being possibly the worst wrestler in the history of the sport. Standing taller than 7'5, the former basketball player known as the Giant Gonzalez made his debut in the early 1990s in the WWF and immediately showed a proficiency for not understanding how to wrestle a wrestling match under any circumstances. At the 1993 Summerslam, he faced the Undertaker in a Rest in Peace Match, a match no one had ever heard of before this event. Thankfully, this was the Giant Gonzalez's final match as Vince came to his sense and fired him shortly thereafter. Once the match started, Vince finally explained what a RIP match actually was: No disqualification and no count out. Gonzalez beat on the Undertaker like the Great Khali would do if the Great Khali were drunk, working on two broken legs, and having been hit on the head with a hammer beforehand. I cannot properly state how awful this match truly is. The Giant Gonzalez was so terrible that even his chair shots looked completely fake and his selling was even worse. He had this bad habit of puffing out his cheeks and bugging his eyes out, making himself look drunk and/or stupid. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xf8423_undertaker-vs-giant-gonzales-summer_sport Finally, Paul Bearer made one of this many returns and reclaimed the previously stolen urn from Gonzalez's manager, Harvey Wippleman. Since Gonzalez was under no circumstances capable of going up for the Tombstone, the Undertaker was forced to deliver about 29 clotheslines to finish off the Giant Gonzalez.
