10 Worst WWE SummerSlam Posters

9. SummerSlam 2010

WWE moved SummerSlam to Los Angeles in 2009 and spent the next couple of years using a star theme on posters in order to evoke the Hollywood Walk of Fame (and celebrity in general). While the 2009 design was actually kind of cool and retro-looking, though, the 2010 version was just a mess - a hodgepodge of WWE superstars on an angle with actual stars popping out all around.

What really makes the 2010 poster so awful, though, is that it was a missed opportunity. SummerSlam 2010 featured the Team WWE vs. Nexus seven-on-seven tag team match that was one of the better-built showdowns of that entire year. While many fans still take issue with the outcome of the match - John Cena tapping out Wade Barrett permanently destroyed The Nexus's credibility - the bout itself was highly anticipated.

With that in mind, it would have made more sense to create a poster that focused on the main event, with Team WWE and The Nexus ready to face off for all to see. Instead, no one in The Nexus was even featured.
