10 Worst WWE SummerSlam Posters
5. SummerSlam 2013
SummerSlam 2013 wasn't just one of the best SummerSlam events that WWE has run in recent memory, it was also one of the best PPVs of the decade thus far. The main event was an expertly built, fundamentally exquisite WWE Championship match between John Cena and Daniel Bryan that ended with a rare well-executed swerve, getting fans talking. Elsewhere on the card, Brock Lesnar beat CM Punk in a great match and Christian and Alberto Del Rio offered a strong contest of their own.
It's unfortunate that none of that drama, intensity, or excitement was reflected on the poster, which was just a badly photoshopped image of seven superstars on a roller coaster - because people go to amusement parks in the summer? Only Daniel Bryan actually looks like he's actually on a roller coaster, and he's clearly just doing his "Yes!" taunt. The rest are nothing more than fight faces and awkwardly 'shopped hair.
Thankfully, this was something of a turning point for SummerSlam posters, as since 2013, WWE hasn't really gotten too gimmicky with their offerings.
