10 Worst WWE Tag Team Champions Ever

4. Charlie Haas & Rico

Take one serious pro wrestler with a no-nonsense approach, combine him with an effeminate tribute act (to Adrian Street) and throw the former's wife into the mix. That was creative's big plan for the WWE Tag Team Titles on April 20, 2004. Out of nowhere, Charlie Haas and Rico became the new champs and embarked on a dull 56 day reign.

In those 56 days, they beat the dull-as-dishwater combo of Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly at Judgment Day before dropping the titles to The Dudley Boyz shortly before The Great American Bash in June. The experiment was over quickly; WWE's attempt to team Charlie's wrasslin' approach with Rico's exotic appearance had fallen flat.

It'd be amiss not to recognise that Rico connected with fans as an unlikely babyface before teaming with Haas. That doesn't excuse WWE for slapping the tag belts on him again; they'd previously tried with the team of Rikishi and Rico in 2002 too, and that was a similar disaster.
