9. Dean Ambrose

Jon Moxley’s run as the wildcard renegade at the forefront of AEW’s most popular stars serves as a horrible "f*** you" to those in WWE responsible for his creative mistreatment in his final days with the company.

Dean Ambrose was a superstar with endless potential and a character who was terribly misunderstood by those in control of his career path whilst under the WWE banner, especially during his last run.

Returning from a lengthy triceps injury in the summer of 2018 with a new chiselled look and bullish attitude, fans were desperately hoping the defiant rebel attitude would return with him, instead of the goofball antics WWE routinely hampered him with. His alliance with Seth Rollins was a ticking time-bomb, but throughout he was a dangerous combatant that everyone was behind. However, during the supposed blood feud with Rollins, Ambrose was made to look like an absolute moron. SWAT Team attacks and injecting needles into his own backside, became the final nail in the coffin for Ambrose’s patience with WWE and audiences shared his sentiment. The WWE Universe almost willfully ushered Dean out of his turbulent creative direction and into the brighter pastures he currently finds himself.

Bad idea after bad idea destroyed Ambrose’s WWE tenure. He became a hound of his own justice on the way out after repeated poor character transformations.
