6. Bertha Faye

Aside from having some sweet, sweet entrance music (ahem) that left a lasting imprint on fans of the time, Bertha Faye is remembered for interrupting one seriously kick-ass feud between Alundra Blayze and Bull Nakano.

Together, Blayze and Nakano did everything they could to revive the fortunes of female wrestling in the WWF during the mid-90s. After apparently failing to live up to McMahon's expectations, Nakano was replaced by Faye, a veteran who had wrestled across the world as Ronda Singh.

The WWF repackaged Singh as an overweight piece of trailer trash who fell in love with Harvey Wippleman. We're not joking.

This can't have been what Blayze meant when she suggested the WWF bring in experienced campaigners for her to wrestle. Less than three months after Faye and Alundra traded ownership of the Women's Title, the belt was dropped completely even before Blayze, as Madusa, dropped it into the Nitro trash.
