10 Worst WWE WrestleMania Debuts Ever

Butterbean Knocks Out Bart Gunn

The entire Brawl For All concept WWE worked in the late-90s has long been considered a failed experiment. There's a reason for that: seeing guys genuinely paste the hell out of one another felt out-of-place on a wrestling show, and hearing announcers crow about how "real" the action was made everything else seem fake.

Then there was Butterbean, a rotund tough man fighter who was always going to make mince meat of tournament winner Bart Gunn. That might have been fine had the one-sided exhibition boxing match not happened at WrestleMania XV.

Although nobody wanted to see it happen on the biggest show of the year, WWE were undeterred and pressed forward with a "celebrity appearance" from Bean. In fairness, he did get a minor pop when he knocked Bart out.

That wasn't enough to save his one-off, 35-second 'Mania cameo from being one of the worst ever.
