10 Worst WWE WrestleMania Endings Ever

9. WrestleMania X8

Randy Orton Triple H WrestleMania 25

The first in a series entitled "Triple H being overshadowed in a WrestleMania main event".

WrestleMania X8 is remembered for one match and one match only and it sure ain't DDP vs. Christian.

The Rock and Hulk Hogan's incredible "Icon vs Icon" match lit the Toronto crowd on fire. It was Hogan's first match in the WWF for nearly a decade and, despite being a heel with the nWo, the crowd cheered him like a returning hero.

The downside to this monumental success was that it was a hell of an act to follow. Sadly, that's exactly what Triple H and Chris Jericho had to do.

The Game's own return to the WWF at the Royal Rumble had been massively overshadowed by Hogan's comeback and his storyline with Y2J and Stephanie McMahon was lackluster compared to what had come just minutes before.

This is the perfect example of why the world championship shouldn't always main event a show. This match wasn't bad, it just wasn't Rock vs. Hogan.

If Triple H and Jericho had gone on earlier in the card, then it would have been looked upon much more favourably.
