10 Worst WWE WrestleMania Endings

8. WrestleMania 2000

Perhaps this is going to come off a touch ungrateful - they did basically invent professional wrestling, after all - but: under no circumstances whatsoever should WrestleMania ever climax with four members of the McMahon Family out at ringside.

The one-in-every-corner angle they were going for in 2000 didn't really work the way that they imagined. This feud was all about Vince versus Stephanie, and the inclusion of Shane and Linda only served to dilute what could have been an interesting match-up.

In consequence, the opening minutes of this one gave the impression that the competitors - and indeed fans - were merely going through the motions. Come on already, you shouted at your screen, let's ditch Big Show and Mankind and get to the good stuff.

No disrespect to either of those two as performers, of course, but their being here was unnecessary. And, once again, the same can probably be said of the McMahons, however eternally in their debt we all are for bringing this strangely compelling sport-cum-soap opera to a global audience.
