10 Worst WWE WrestleMania World Title Storylines

1. Chris Jericho Vs. Triple H (WrestleMania X8)

While the previous three examples depicted heels uttering highly-questionable sentiments to incite crowds, at least their actions were ballsy. The same couldn't be said for Jericho, the first ever 'Undisputed' WWE Champion, who went into WrestleMania with his tail between his legs. The match may as well have been Triple H vs. Stephanie McMahon, since their domestic squabble took centre stage over Jericho's involvement. Jericho later lamented not getting to do anything that would position him as a calculating threat to sudden hero Helmsley. Instead, he was Stephanie's weak-willed dog-walker. The go-home 'intensifier' to the story was that Jericho accidentally caused the dog, who Triple H wanted custody of, to be run over by a limo. So now Jericho was going to get slaughtered in the name of a mutt, which is absolutely on par with Randy Savage raring to damage Ric Flair for insulting his wife's honour. With an angle like that, how did Rock vs. Hogan not go on last?
