Look at the tron in that pic above and you'll see WWE creative's answer to any and all character development for someone who showed promise on NXT. Will you try hard to establish No Way Jose as a watchable member of the Raw roster and have him do something more than dance around ringside with his entourage?

"No".

Jose's fanfare upon his main roster arrival earlier this year was short-lived. It didn't help that he had a forgettable mini-feud with Baron Corbin, one with Mojo Rawley and about as much babyface shine as Adam Rose when he was doing his own party lad gimmick. This was honestly a very poor, half-arsed attempt by WWE to get the guy over.

The hostest with the mostest character is lame, a retread and played before less and less excitement with each passing week. By June/July, WWE had given up on Jose, and it's become abundantly obvious that he'd be better off back in NXT.
