And yet, Lana is one million times preferable to this aborted experiment that consumed far too much TV time without ever having any real pay off beyond, 'Oh, Rob has decided he'd rather play in the NFL with Tom Brady again. LOL!'.

Yuck.

WWE hyped 'Gronk' up like the next coming of Brock Lesnar earlier this year. He seemed destined to get every chance to become a major player in the company, but it was doomed to fail once Brady signed for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Rob started itching to catch his passes like the good old days in New England.

Gronkowski's involvement in the dire 24/7 Title picture (he held the title for 67 days!) also furthered thoughts that WWE were treading water with the big man. Despite never technically wrestling one official match outside of the barmy comedy league, Rob definitely merits a place on this list.

So much for that.
