4. Carmella

Spare a thought for poor old 'Mella.

Last October, Carmella was reborn as an "Untouchable" villainess who promised to rule the SmackDown women's division and look good doing it. She was a Diva throwback with promise, and all looked rosy for her. Then, WWE lost interest and 'Mella's push totally stalled.

Put it this way: Carmella went from challenging Sasha Banks for the top prizes at Royal Rumble to teaming with Billy Kay as an "odd couple" duo at WrestleMania 37. Since then, she has been used sparingly and started trading wins and losses with Liv Morgan. That's not a great spot for somebody with ambition.

WWE's general lack of interest has rubbed off on Carmella's ring performances too. She was dynamic and invested heading into the Rumble showdown with Sasha, but recent bouts with Morgan, Bianca Belair and Ruby Riott have been uninspired and rather lifeless.

Things do not look great now that Eva Marie is on telly doing the old Diva bit herself.
