10 Worst WWE Wrestlers Of 2022

5. Shotzi

Here's another one that hurts, but here goes.

Shotzi hasn't exactly been killing it since jumping up from NXT in the summer of 2021. Her original tag team alongside Tegan Nox failed to really get going, and her following singles run has been blighted by a string of shoddy matches and an ill-fitting heel turn.

It'd be easy to lay full blame at Shotzi's feet, but that wouldn't be 100% fair. She turned babyface for literally no reason in September, and creative has provided little in the way of proper character development since. Nope, why bother with that when you can throw her to the wolves as a 'B' level challenger for Ronda Rousey?

There's a feeling that Shotzi is trying too hard to impress and do too much during her matches too. That led to several sloppy moments at Money In The Bank, and again vs. Rousey at Survivor Series WarGames. Fingers crossed these are just early hiccups and there's better to come in 2023.

It'd be nice to see Shotzi succeed.
