10 Worst WWF VHS Tapes Ever Released

6. WWF€™s Funniest Moments

This is the early 90s release rather than the fairly good 2000s edition, and boy, it is rotten. The WWF€™s definition of humour varies wildly from everyone else€™s, case in point being a near 10-minute portion of the tape dedicated to everyone€™s favourite giant fluffy turkey the Gobbledygooker. It€™s not even taken from his Survivor Series debut either, which would have at least given us some laughs seeing Mean Gene Okerlund prance around like a prat. No, this is the €˜Gooker dancing jigs and doing cartwheels with Mike McGuirk, then the golf ball-eyed bird busting a move with the Fink. If that alone is not enough to drive you away, then a woeful segment with some of the most amateur production values since Plan 9 from Outer Space in which the Bushwhackers cook for Mean Gene then convert him into one of their own, surely is.

The author of the highly acclaimed 'Titan' book series, James Dixon has been involved in the wrestling business for 25 years as a fan, wrestler, promoter, agent, and writer. James spent several years wrestling on the British independent circuit, but now prefers to write about the bumps and bruises rather than take any of them. His past in-ring experience does however give a uniquely more "insider" perspective on things, though he readily admits to still being a "mark" at heart. James is the Chief Editor and writer at historyofwrestling.co.uk and is responsible for the best-selling titles Titan Sinking, Titan Shattered, and Titan Screwed, as well as the Complete WWF Video Guide series, and the Raw Files series.
