10 WrestleMania 33 Matches Fans Want (But Won’t Get)

2. John Cena Vs. The Undertaker

For well over a decade, a major bout between John Cena and The Undertaker has been the "holy grail" of WWE dream matches. Though the two men did have a single PPV contest with each other, that was back in 2003, when Cena was a heel and The Undertaker was a biker. There's never been that true Cena-Undertaker main event.

It was supposed to happen last year - a "Battle of the Legends" at WrestleMania 32 - but Cena's shoulder injury kept him from competing at the show. Instead, The Undertaker faced Shane McMahon in a lackluster bout. Most people expected that this year's show would play host to their match.

So what's the holdup? Rumor has it that Cena-Undertaker was initially penciled in for this year, but now, plans have changed and they're not going to be wrestling. It's possible that the company wants to save Cena-Undertaker for next year - that way, Undertaker must face the biggest (and possibly final) challenge of his career in the same city where the streak was broken. That's all well and good as a story, but when dealing with a man in his 40s and one in his 50s, it's probably not wise to plan that far in advance.
