Like it or not, the last time WWE presented the WWE Title as WrestleMania's focal point, it was because Roman Reigns was involved (at 'Mania 32). In 2017, WWE made a title they claim is the "most prestigious" in pro wrestling look like a midcard belt akin to the United States Title.

Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton were abandoned at the 11th hour by creative and forced to work a dreadfully slow brawl sprinkled with supernatural silliness, bringing the match to a grinding halt just so Bray could pretend to conjure up some special effects did little to sell it as important. WWE have a special, one-of-a-kind wrestling match on their hands at 'Mania 34. AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura is the kind of classic that will rock the house if given time and proper focus. Give this one precedence over others and you won't be disappointed, WWE.

Don't make the same mistake again with a title you tell us is wrestling's most significant.
