9. Undermining The Tag Titles So Horribly

There's so sign that either the Raw or SmackDown Tag-Team Titles will be defended on 'Mania's main card right now. Blue brand champs Shane McMahon and The Miz may end up feuding, and the Bobby Roode and Chad Gable team on Raw doesn't have enough of a high profile to make it seem worthy.

Could this be another year in the dark for the once-proud tag division?

At WrestleMania 34, Braun Strowman teamed with a child to beat The Bar and the SmackDown belts were stuck in a throwaway five-minute three-way match that barely got going before it was over. This is distressing for any fan of tag-team wrestling, and it's bothersome that things might not better in time.

Both sets of titles were made to look unimportant in 2018. The booking was poor, the matches unmemorable and the lasting impact of both reigns that came out of them was nil. If only we could return to the days when tags were treated with respect.
