6. The Undertaker Vs Shawn Michaels

At Wrestlemania 25, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels had what many consider the greatest regular rules match ever. It set the stage for a rematch in the main event of Wrestlemania 26 for not only The Streak, but also Shawn Michaels€™ wrestling mortality. Unfortunately for Shawn Michaels, and HBK fans everywhere, it would be the last time we would ever see him against The Undertaker, and in a ring as a wrestler. Interestingly, the man who ended his career in kayfabe, was the same man he suffered a legit career threatening injury against back in 1998. Beforehand, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, two of the biggest stars in WWE in the 90€™s, never really crossed paths until Summerslam 97. An errant chair shot changed everything and let to a series of events that would spawn the creation of the Hell in a Cell match, and the previously stated injury to Shawn that would keep him out for 4 years. Shawn Michaels always found a way to sneak out of matches with The Undertaker with tainted victories. Kane made his debut during the Hell in a Cell match, and terrorized Undertaker in the following months. Their late career WrestleMania classics were the answer that fans had wanted since 1997. In hindsight, it€™s amazing it took them that long to renew that rivalry.
