Last year, at WrestleMania XXX, Brock Lesnar did the impossible when he conquered The Undertakers undefeated streak. After the match was over, there was dead silence in an arena packed with 75,000 people as everyone collectively tried to grasp the enormity of what they just witnessed. For something so monumental, it would seem to have been planned months in advance, but the decision for The Streak to finally be broken was actually a last-minute call by Vince McMahon. According to Shawn Michaels, who himself has had two classic WrestleMania matches with The Undertaker and was there WrestleMania weekend, the decision came in with only three or four hours to go before showtime. Vince McMahon has since gone on record as to why he made the decision he did, putting it down to timing, saying aside from Brock Lesnar, there was no-one else in the near future who he saw as a potential streak-breaker. Whether or not the streak should have been broke at all is a contentious point between fans, and the fact that the decision was made so late in the game only makes it worse to those who hold it up as an almost sacred accomplishment.
