Dominik Mysterio Vs. Rey Mysterio in a blood feud would be a huge match on any Supershow card. It is a definite SummerSlam, if not WrestleMania calibre feud in waiting, and it is one that is going to happen before Rey retires. It is no secret that all parties involved want it to happen, it is just a matter of when, so it is about time that Dominik does something his father never could, turn heel.
It is a star-making turn in waiting, we all know it is coming, but the sight of Dominik Mysterio beating the life out of his own father will still be incredibly shocking, producing the young man a mega amount of heat with the fans. It would allow Dom to step out of his father's shadow for the first time and find his own voice and start to create a character that isn't just Rey Mysterio's son.
This can all lead to one of the most emotional wrestling feuds in recent memory with a cathartic match between the pair on the big stage. The father and son combo could produce a brilliant back and forth contest with Dominik trying desperately to prove that he is better than the man that raised him, resulting in a heart-warming climax where the two embrace once more, allowing Rey to pass his mask down to his son, along with his legacy, creating the companies next Luchador megastar.
