So this alliance requires a little bit of retooling of the gimmicks of both guys but, honestly, it would pay off in the end. Cesaro has long been the most woefully underused member of the WWE roster despite the fact that he is fantastic in the ring and seems to connect with the audience despite his low position on the card. Of course, Vince McMahon used his "brass ring" line to justify why Cesaro isn't receiving a push but that was all nonsense and everyone saw right through it. Vince just doesn't like Cesaro for whatever reason, maybe he didn't shake the right person's hand backstage one night or something but, for whatever reason, Cesaro needs a kick in the pants and this could be what does it for him. Cesaro's current character is just a wrestler and that's fine, you don't want to change that but you can tweak it slightly. Turn Cesaro into the wrestling version of the Jason Statham character from the Transporter movies. Have Cesaro wear a nice suit, arrive in a sports car backstage, have a good-looking woman with him, and have him be the hired muscle for various other superstars. Think of it as an updated version of the APA but classier. For no better reason than I want to see him on the main roster, let's make Hideo Itami Cesaro's right hand man. He could assist Cesaro in matches, be his tag partner when needed and then, ultimately, turn on him and start a very entertaining feud that would no doubt feature tremendous matches. Sure, this is more of a gimmick entry than an alliance entry but honestly, you're telling me you wouldn't pay to watch Cesaro and Itami kick the !*$% out of two guys for about 15 minutes? I thought so.
