10 Wrestler Allegiances That Must Happen In 2016

5. Samoa Joe And Kevin Owens

WWE defenders were quick to run to their computers following Kevin Owens's debut on the main roster where he pinned John Cena clean in the middle of the ring following a pop-up powerbomb. "You see?!! WWE is creating new stars!" Of course, Owens went on to job to Cena twice in a row after that, thus killing all of his momentum and rendering him a midcard act immediately but hey...it was fun for about a week. Since then, Owens has won the Intercontinental title but this isn't 1997 anymore so that doesn't mean anything and Owens needs something new to do. Why not pair him with one of the few guys from TNA that WWE actually signed and let them beat a few guys up? Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens would be a great pair because Joe's character doesn't speak that much anyway. Owens could do all of the talking and bragging while Joe does the kicking of the faces. Both Owens and Joe can work with anyone in the ring and can play convincing bigger heels when matched against smaller teams. Owens has the high impact offense while Joe is the Samoan Submission Machine who chokes you out right after Owens sends you crashing down. Obviously, this would require some effort and focus being put on the tag team division. You remember the tag team division, right? A great way to get two guys over as a team before possibly splitting them off into singles competition and thus creating two new stars that the audience buys as contenders because they've seen them win for years? No? Yeah, me neither.
