10 Wrestler Deaths WWE Didn't Acknowledge

10. Test - 2009

Andrew Martin died in 2009 at the young age of 33, suffering the consequences of a pain killer overdose. As Test he had been one of the WWF's brightest prospects in the Attitude Era, notably featuring in a storyline where he was the fiancée of Stephanie McMahon. Ultimately that story ended up being overshadowed by Triple H who gatecrashed Test and Stephanie's marriage, and Test then descended into midcard obscurity. Still, he managed to be a solid WWE star through his 1999-2004 and 2006-2007 runs with the company. WWE never gave Test any sort of Raw tribute. The reason for this was probably because they didn't want to associate themselves with someone who was found with painkillers and steroids at their death scene. There was also the fact that Test was so young, WWE didn't want to admit he was one of their guys. Strictly speaking he wasn't, he was released from WWE in 2007 and went on to work briefly in TNA. Still, you can't help but feel he deserved some sort of Raw video package. It would have been nice to see Stephanie McMahon be interviewed on her reaction to his death given that they both worked so closely together early in their WWE careers.

Grahame Herbert hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
