10 Wrestler Movie Cameos You Totally Missed

6. Kevin Nash - The Punisher

Kevin Nash has become pretty successful in Hollywood over the last decade. Starting out with bit parts in movies such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II, Nash has since appeared in box office films like Rock of Ages with Tom Cruise and featured as a supporting character in the Magic Mike movies.

With increasingly high profile roles, Nash is beginning to rack up a decent list of titles in his acting portfolio. However, one role that is often forgotten in Nash's back catalogue is his turn in the 2004 version of The Punisher.

Hired by John Travolta's character, Howard Saint, Nash played the part of a silent Russian hitman, tasked with murdering Frank Castle (aka The Punisher). As The Russian, Nash spent his time on-screen generally man-handling his opposition and destroying everything in his path... until taking some inevitable punishment of his own.

The role itself also called for Nash to sport a short, blonde hair cut, which was covered on WWE TV by having him lose a 'Hair vs. Hair' match to Chris Jericho in August 2003. It's an unusual look for Nash but a great part for him nonetheless.

A largely underrated film and an often overlooked big screen role from 'Big Sexy', The Punisher is worth checking out. If not for the movie itself, then for the Nash part at least.
