The scar just above The Miz's eyebrow is far from the most grisly or disturbing in wrestling history - in fact, it's pretty tame. What's more notable about the particular injury is that it occurred - and worsened - on national television. On the October 15, 2012 edition of Monday Night Raw, Miz tangled with Kofi Kingston in a match that saw Kingston connect with a Trouble in Paradise that split Miz open. The kick - usually a safe move - rattled Miz's skull and bloodied him, and while subsequent testing showed that he didn't have a concussion, he still had to be stitched up. As The Miz was good to go, he was back in action the following night, but in many matches in the subsequent weeks, the cost of doing business caught up to him - Miz's stitches were frequently popped, and the cut didn't heal as well as it could have if he were, you know, not getting hit in the face. This ain't ballet, as they say, but the injury took its toll on Miz's moneymaker.
