Marq Quen and Isiah Kasidy operated just beneath the edge of indie stardom before signing with All Elite Wrestling.

Working almost exclusive for north-eastern United States promotions like NEW and HOG, Private Party's buzz hadn't yet penetrated the scene's upper echelons. That's not to say it wouldn't have had they not committed their future to AEW, and it'd be ignorant to call them "unknowns" at the start of the year, though it's hard to see them shining so brightly today had this new platform not emerged.

The 9 October episode of Dynamite hosted Private Party's breakout performance, with the duo matching their most obvious stylistic influences, The Young Bucks, for athleticism and excitement. It was a breathless tag team tournament bout that took their "ones to watch" status and pushed it several steps further, ensuring that Quen and Kasidy were now on everyone's radar, having wrestled exclusively on Buy In pre-shows up to that point.

Quen and Kasidy are raw. They're still developing, but few can match their explosiveness and expressiveness, and they've got a fun, entertaining gimmick that works on both sides of AEW's fluid alignment scale. They're going places. Fast.
