10 Wrestlers AEW Has Given Up On

6. The Butcher & The Blade

Or for these guys.

The Butcher and The Blade were actually given a decent spot when they landed on the AEW roster in late-2019. They were hired by MJF in his quest to rid the company of Cody Rhodes, but things have steadily slid from there - Butch and Blade don't even have The Bunny in their corner anymore.

She's been busy making her own mark in the women's division, and Allie isn't even the first to leave the tag-team high and dry. Eddie Kingston, who previously headed up a short-lived faction with the pair, has also turned babyface and darted off in a different direction.

Now, Butcher and Blade are glorified "jobbers to the stars". That's a lowly spot for them, and they couldn't be further from a reign as AEW Tag-Team Champs that once seemed possible. Maybe that'll change someday, but everything seems a tad grim for the heel duo as things stand.
