10 Wrestlers AEW MUST Sign Next

6. Stallion Rogers

Stallion Rogers - the former Curt Stallion - sounds like the name of some cheesy '80s hunk from the latest rom-com hit.

Stallion Rogers the wrestler, however, is a hoot to watch. He was never destined to make it far in WWE, hence why he was released this past June after only being signed in October; being exclusive to 205 Live, bar one or two NXT appearances, didn't help him. His work in the 'E was fine. He had some alright matches, but he missed the boat on WWE's phase of indie darlings succeeding.

In AEW, Stallion could easily slot into a similar situation to that of 2.0 or Tay Conti; someone who was overlooked by WWE that has gone on to succeed in All Elite Wrestling. Take 2.0 for example. They only debuted on the Homecoming episode of Dynamite alongside Daniel Garcia, and already they're scheduled to face Darby Allin and Sting on the upcoming Dynamite broadcast.

Imagine, those cheeky Ever-Rise lads from NXT who were constantly used as card fodder facing actual, real-life Sting.

Now, that's not to say Stallion Rogers should face Sting because that's just mental. He'd thrive under the pen of Tony Khan if given time. A smaller guy, granted, yet he'd act well either against an agile performer like Sammy Guevara or a big beefy brute in Miro.
