There are few WWE superstars, let alone celebrities, who can boast a resume quite like The Rock's. From WrestleMania main events to box office triumphs, The People's Champion has proven himself capable of taking any ball and running with it. At least as long as that ball isn't attached to a roller coaster.

Although one might peg The Rock for a thrill seeker given his penchant for bringing high octane excitement to the silver screen, the thought of riding the amusement park staple freaks him out. No American Coaster Enthusiasts membership for this Brahma Bull!

The Rock explained as much during an interview, describing a trip to Disneyland with some fellow cast members where he did everything short of busting security open the hard way to avoid a date with destiny - in this case, a series of sharp drops and tight turns designed to distract children from the looming spectre of adult life. Yet roller coasters themselves don't terrify The Rock so much as the various bars and straps present to ensure the safety of passengers. It's not the heat, it's the humidity, I guess.

According to The Rock, the feeling of being strapped or locked in terrifies him because he feels trapped. It's no wonder he never competed in an Elimination Chamber match. We can also safely assume he's a hard pass on any Fifty Shades of Grey sequels.
