10 Wrestlers At Risk Of Missing Out On The WWE WrestleMania 39 Card

4. New Day

Big E is still benched, and the Kofi Kingston/Xavier Woods duo are just coming off a short reign as NXT Tag-Team Champions. This is the first year in a good few that New Day won't have any concrete spot on the card at WrestleMania then - the lads could be eating pancakes and stealing that guest host spot from Miz themselves.

Worse, there's no real tag scenario on the booking sheets for them. Longtime rivals The Usos will collide with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn instead, and some random-assed bout vs. The Viking Raiders (or someone like that) has a 'been there, done that' quality to it.

Worrying times for the celebrated trio.

Kofi is a former World Champion, and Xavier was King Of The Ring just a few years ago. Fast forward on from those respective 2019 and 2021 successes and...things look grim for New Day. They just don't have any realistic shot of making nights one or two.
