10 Wrestlers Buried By Triple H

10. Sheamus

People think that Triple H will lose to Roman Reigns because Reigns is WWE's hand-picked guy. But so was Sheamus, and 'The Cerebral Assassin' had no issue beating him on WWE's grandest stage just a couple of months after his main-roster debut. It's hard to think of a good reason why Triple H should've beaten Sheamus in his first WrestleMania appearance, especially as he was someone the company had high-hopes for. The theory behind Sheamus losing to Triple H was that he would get the rub simply from being in the same ring as a WWE legend. And while it is certainly possible to get over in defeat, that did not happen with Sheamus. By the following year he was reduced to competing on the pre-show, while Triple H was challenging The Undertaker's famous Streak. If Sheamus had been allowed to defeat Triple H then perhaps he would have been over to the level where he was a realistic contender to wrestle Undertaker and attempt to break the Streak. Instead he banged his head on the WWF glass ceiling and has never truly broke through it since.
