4. Apollo Crews
In most wrestling fans' opinions, Apollo Crews was called up to the main roster far too early.
Crews got the call just eight months after his NXT debut and it was clear that the company had no idea what to do with him once he arrived on the main roster.
Crews just resides in an awkward spot on Raw; there are often glimmers of hope that a push is coming for the guy, but they always remain just glimmers.
In NXT, Crews got to show off his amazing combination of high-flying and power moves against guys like Baron Corbin, Tyler Breeze and Finn Bálor.
However, he was there for far too short an amount of time. Just as it felt like he was becoming a viable top guy in the promotion, he got called up to Raw and become lost in the shuffle.
Crews would definitely benefit from a prolonged stay down in developmental, as he never truly got the chance to shine there. But, he has enough talent to put on a great one-off match and hopefully remind everyone why we were so excited about him in the first place.
