Ok so this is less killing a man’s passion and more reducing it drastically. Still, we are talking about a man widely accepted as one of the best wrestlers in the planet, so it more than qualifies for the list.

Shinsuke Nakamura arrived in WWE in 2016 in what was considered one of biggest signings in company history. He slotted immediately into a prominent role in NXT and everything from his awesome theme music to exaggerated antics to his stiff style was an instant hit with fans. Unfortunately that was as good as it got.

As time passed and Nakamura made his way to the main roster, he seemed to lose the things that made him such an amazing performer. Most of his matches failed to deliver, his big push fizzled out into nothing and now the man looks like he’s barely even trying.

There is of course another side to this, as Shin is well within his rights to try and avoid too much damage to his already broken down body. But considering what this man used to be and how he appears to no longer have none of that manic energy, it’s safe to say his passion and desire to put on those six stars in the Tokyo Dome diminished significantly during his time in WWE.
