5. Neville

Neville was one of the people who helped put NXT on the map. His incredible offensive style and athleticism was like a breath of fresh air for fans who had become used to the WWE formula for matches that had been largely unchanged in over a decade. He continued to generate more and more hype until he finally got the call up to the main roster.

And then, it all fell apart. He was never put in a high profile feud, they didn’t build up his character and he even lost his first name. Still, Neville persevered and even re-invented himself in the cruiserweight division as this devilish heel. But even then, WWE simply would not put any real stock in him.

It was all too much for the Man Who Gravity Forgot and he walked out on WWE in late 2017. WWE froze his contract and the man was never to be seen in World Wrestling Entertainment again. Since then he has gone on to enjoy a stellar run all across the world and is now smashing it in AEW as Pac, but boy oh boy did WWE push this man to the edge. To the point where he was content not doing the thing he loved, as long as it meant he could be free of WWE.

After battling Galactus and pinning Hulk Hogan in the main event of Wrestlemania, I've taken a break from living in fantasy worlds, to focus on writing about them. I'm a comic book geek, a wrestling mark, a break dancer, and a scientist. One of those things may not be true.
