10 Wrestlers Who Had Great Matches When Injured

2. The Undertaker Defends The Streak When Injured

One man who hasn't been quite right for some time is The Undertaker. He's what is described as "chronically injured", meaning he's always working with some sort of physical ailment. This is mainly related to the wear and tear in his knees and shoulders, which puts The Deadman in considerable physical pain. Given his condition, WWE always tried to match Taker up with a capable worker at WrestleMania. Guys like Triple H and CM Punk were able to carry the load, thus allowing Undertaker to have classic matches. As a result, you had occasions such as WrestleMania 29, where Taker barely got passed fit to wrestle - yet still ended up having the match of the night. A year later at WrestleMania 30 and Taker's injury was much more obvious. This time he didn't manage to have a great match, due to suffering a major concussion early in the action. Sadly, Undertaker's streak loss to Brock Lesnar ended up being an absolute dud. It doesn't change the fact though that Taker worked injured for many years, always putting on a great match despite his limitations.
